A short introduction to padel for beginners! Guide will teach you the basics of padel and you can practise playing with other players.

The activities start at the Himos Safarit reception premises in Himos Center at 10 o’clock.

10.00 Ice-Fishing
Guided fishing tour on the ice at Patalahti bay. Cast your line as the ice is crackling and snow cover is shimmering and enjoy a hot beverage. Tour guide services, equipment, bait and a hot beverage included.

12.00 eFatbike safari
With electrically assisted fatbikes, the snowy and hilly terrains of Himos can be conquered even if it’s been a while since the last bike ride! We drive on safari in the wonderful landscapes of Himos.

12.00  Children’s snowmobile school
Who say the enjoying the thrill of speed and the rumbling of an engine is just for adults! Snowmobile school for children on a closed circuit where children can safely experience the genuine atmosphere of snowmobiling. After the drive, there will be warm juice available and the children will get a certificate for attending the snowmobile school.
Duration ca 1 h,
Price 15 € / person.
Recommended for 4-10 yeas old, under 8 years old and younger accompanied by an adult.

16.00 Arctic Floating
Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to float like an ice cube in a glass? The ice swimming adventure will give you the opportunity to try it out. A jump into freezing water is an incredible experience that gives you something to remember. Under the float suit, you can wear your own comfortable indoor clothing. The suit insulates water and cold. Suit for over 12 years old.

17.00 Himos snowmobile safari
Himos snowmobile safari introduces you to the world of snowmobiling without unnecessary breaks! On this outing, you will get to enjoy shimmering snow, winter scenery and speed, whether you are a beginner or an experienced driver.

Price 99 €/person, 79 €/person (when 2 person /snowmobile)
Weather permitting. If snow situation does not allow the snowmobile, we will make an excursion with ATVs.

8.00 – 10.00 Lakeside Sauna with winter swimming
Start the morning with sauna and a refreshing dip in the hole in the ice.
After dipping to the lake have a sauna and start the day with a rejuvenated spirit!

Bring your own bathing suit and towel. The sauna is public, there are separate changing rooms for men and women.

Price 15 € / adult, 7,50 € children (4-12 yrs)

Sauna is heated between 8-10 o’clock, please arrive according to your own schedule directly to the Lakeside sauna.

Get-to know safari in the Himos holidayresort area and the snowmobile trails. The safari introduces you to the basics of snowmobiling.

12.00 Beginner’s safari – Snowmobile School for adults
Does snow mobiling sound fun, but little scary? Join this beginner’s safari where the guide will teach you everything there is to know about snow mobiles.
You will also head to lake Patalahti to safely test your new skills!
Duration approximately 1,5 h.
Price 69 € / person
Driver must have standard driver’s licence.

14.00 Trekking with backcountry skis
The beautiful winter landscape at Himos will tempt you to go on a backcountry ski tour which will also serve as an excellent work-out for the whole body. Along the way, we will take a little break and enjoy some hot juice.
Weather permitting. If the snow cover is not sufficient for skiing, we will go hiking in the splendid landscape at Himos.
Duration approximately 1,5 h.

16.00 Alpine Curling
Alpine curling is a game for the whole family or fun time spent together for adults. The game is suitable for most, regardless of age or size. Knock the opponent’s puck away from the play area and get points right under the opposing team’s noses. Hot drinks will be served at the end of the game.

18.00  Night snowmobile safari
A snowmobile safari in the varied landscape of Himos where the headlights create an exciting atmosphere in the dark forest. Tour guide services, instructions for driving a snowmobile, driving gear (helmet, driving suit, gloves, boots), a snowmobile and fuel, as well as roasting sausages and a beverage are included. Drivers are required to have at least a T driving licence (to drive a tractor).
Duration 2 h
Price 105 €/person (when 2 per snowmobile), 135 €/person (when 1 per snowmobile)
Weather permitting. If the snow cover is not sufficient for snowmobiles, the tour will be taken on ATVs.
