TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS IN HIMOS
World Championship rally causes some changes in traffic on Sunday 6.8.2023 between 6:15 – 15:00.
The effects are listed according to cottage areas or -villages.
The arrangements do not affect other areas, but it’s good to be prepared for traffic jams and crowds in the resort.
HIMOSLAAKSO AND ALPPINOTKO
The cabins listed below are located in the rally spectator area and cannot be accessed during close-out without a rally ticket. Car traffic into the area is closed off during 6:15 – 15:00 but it is possible to exit the area by car during the whole close-out period.

Traffic to the cabins in Himoslaakso and Haapanantie is directed along Peikkoväylä alternately in one direction.
Traffic jams are expected in the area.
LÄNSIHUIPPU AND HIMOSLEHTO
The cabins cannot be accessed by car during the close-out time of 6:15 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. It is possible to leave the cabins during guided slots on Sundays between 11:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. You can get more detailed instructions for leaving at the Himos Center reception upon check-in.

The entire area is closed to traffic from 6:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. You can leave the cabins on Sunday before 6:15 a.m. or only after the closing time after 3 p.m. You cannot enter the area at all during closing time.
