ARRIVAL – DAY 1
At 4 pm. Check-in at Himos reception and accommodating to your comfortable Himos cottage
At 7 pm. Lovely dinner at the organic farm and restaurant Patapirtti – Uusi Yijälän tila.

A generous self-catering selection of breakfast items is delivered to the cottage’s refrigerator before your arrival.
On the arrival night the organic farm Patapirtti will treat your tastebuds with a fantastic dinner made of local ingredients with love.
Explore the enticing hiker’s paradise and diverse National Park Isojärvi on your chosen speed.
After hiking soak yourself to soothing sauna and jacuzzi for well deserved relaxation.
DAY 2
At 8 am. Breakfast at the cottage
At 9 am. Pick up by private transfer from the cottage and drive to Isojärvi National park, Heretty lodge.
At isojärvi you have a variety of marked trails to choose from. The signposts along 3,5 km Nature Trail explain how forestry evolved at the place. Different trails circling the lodge can be combined as 7 or 10 km long semi demanding routes with different scenery and pitstop places. There are also themed events orgainized at the logde through out the summer, that allow you to get to know new trekking gear or learn about everything related to outdoor exploration.
At 4 pm. Pick up from Isojärvi back to Himos where you have the perfect relaxation mode in world waiting for you.
Sauna and jacuzzi at the cottage. Let the warmth of the sauna and gentle massaging bubbles sooth your muscles after forging through up and down on the forest paths.
At 7 pm. Dinner delivered to the cottage
The extensive network of small sandy roads of Cape Jämsä along the Päijänne coastline and the forest trails makes sure that you are spoilt for choice when planning your eFatbiking route.
DAY 3
At 8 am. Breakfast at the cottage.
At 10 am. Hiking in Himos.
Time to conquer some serious hills! The Himos ski-slopes offer amazing views from the hilltops.
Going to the top of the mountain is easy breazy with the new electricity assisted Fatbikes. A network of adorable sandy roads swirling around Cape Jämsä make it hard to decide whether to bike along the coastal road with Lake Päijänne emerging in sight every once in a while or maybe visit the moose and the deer -animals at Moose Manor restaurant and zoopark.
DEPARTURE – DAY 4
At 8 am. Breakfast at the cottage
Heading home relaxed and inspired!

The rest of the day is free time, allowing you to maybe visit Jämsä with its several attractions.

Please wear weather approriate clothing to out-door activities and bring a water bottle just in case the rare Finnish heat-wave will struck (they do exist!)
