Ice Fishing on Lake Patalahti

Ice Fishing is an authentic way to develop character and patience and may be the most popular local winter sport through the ages.
Welcome to try this Finnish form of meditation!

Our excursion takes you by foot to ice of Lake Patalahti.

First you drill a hole in the ice, drop the line and the hook and then wait. Wait for long. Preferably in silence. Some days you get a fish, some days you don’t, that’s the thrill of the game. We’ll set up a campfire for warming up and whether you catch a fish or not, fresh air will provide rosy cheeks.
