Spring is spectacular in Finland. The longer time of day light, slowly warming weather and awakening of the nature are just few of the reasons to feel Himos during springtime.

Easter is the first official bank holiday in Finland after Epiphany in the first days of January. Therefore Finns sure welcome the first sights of spring during Easter. Traditionally Easter means good food and great time with family and friends. This combined with right set of activities is an Easter holiday to remember.

Cottage near everything
KOIVULA – A cottage near everything with all necessities for a nice family holiday
Koivula cottage area is one of the firsts built in Himos. These semi-detached cottages have their own entrance, a small terrace, kitchen-living room, one bedroom, loft and of course sauna. Cottages are located near services, the distance to Himos Hotelli is few hundred meters and distance to Himos Center is just a stone through more. The Patalahti lake is just next to the cabin area, so basic Finnish lake scenery is right next to you!
Koivula cottages have room for 6 persons, two places in bedroom in a 120 cm wide bed and four beds in the upstairs loft. Koivula is suitable for families and if your group is bigger, you can book both sides of the semidetached Koivula cottages and spend your holiday as a next door neighbors.

Looking for luxury
VILLA PORO – Luxury villa in quiet area with all you can need and more
Villa Poro is one of our newest luxury villas. This single villa has 5 bedrooms, big balcony with a view to the golf course, two toilets, sauna and an outdoor jacuzzi. Downstairs there is also a lounge with pool table and great audio system to get the party started.
Villa Poro accommodates 10 persons in five bedrooms each with two separate beds. Therefore Villa Poro is a great choice for bigger families or groups of friends or team-mates who wish to spend great time together.

Here are some tips of what to do:
- Rent an eFatbike, grap a map from the Himos Center reception and check out the scenic surroundings of Himos from a bikers perspective
- Hiking is a great chance to workout, breathe clean air and see Finnish nature in a more slower pace.

Easter time week program
Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to float like an ice cube in a glass? Could you beat your peers in a sumo-wresting match? Would you believe your eyes if you saw trolls living in the Himos forest? Would you be surprised of the size of a full grown moose?

Easter parties in Himos Areena on Friday 10th of April and on Saturday 11th of April. Doors open at 10 pm and the party goes on until 4 am! K-18.

Himos in the middle of Finland
Himos is within a reasonable driving distance from everywhere, for example Helsinki airport and harbor.
Himos is located in the cozy city of Jämsä in southern province of Central Finland. The landscape is characterized by forest, rolling hills, lush fields and endless amount of lakes.
You can get to Himos by car, train or bus easily and quickly. Himos is about 55 km from Jyväskylä, 90 km from Tampere and 220 km from Helsinki.
