In the backwoods of Himos-mountains, in the middle of rugged landscapes and bordered by a forest, lies Restaurant Moose Manor and its adorable horned inhabitants. What better way to explore the cape Jämsänniemi than to cycle along winding dirt roads with the glimmer of Lake Päijänne to get to know moose, roe deer and reindeer eye to eye.
While getting to know the animals and learning of their importance for Finns, we’ll enjoy coffee and tea with delicious condiments under the shelter of sturdy logs, either in the main building of Moose Manor or in the kota – a wilderness hut.
Before setting off, we will go over how to use the controls of the bike and ride safely. The journey will be made at a leisurely pace under the guidance of a guide, and the speed will be adjusted according to the group.
Participants must have their own weather-appropriate outdoor clothing.
Cycling helmet is included in the safari price.
