SUGGESTED ITINERARY
This 4-night action package includes accommodation Monday to Friday and a daily program including snowmobile safari, ice-swimming in a floating suit and a ice-fishing.
MONDAY
At 4 pm CHECK-IN
The keys to your chosen holiday cottage will be waiting at the Himos reception at the address of Länsi-Himoksentie 4.
TUESDAY
At 10 am ICE-FISHING EXCURSION (ca 1,5 h)
Departure from Himos Center reception
In this ice-fishing excursion we go by foot to Lake Patalahti, drill holes in the ice, drop the bait and if we are lucky catch some fish to be grilled by the campfire. Fresh air will provide rosy cheeks.
WEDNESDAY
At 10 am SNOWMOBILE SAFARI (ca 1,5 h)
Departure from Himos Center reception
First we dress up in driving gear and head out to snowmobiles for driving instructions. This guided safari introduces you to basics of driving a snowmobile in the varying terrain of Himos. The driving overall, helmet, cloves and boots are included in the safari.

THURSDAY
At 10 am ARCTIC FLOATING (ca 1,5 h)
Departure from Himos Center reception
The idea of dipping yourself into 0 degree water might not sound appealing at first, but let us show you how fun it can be! You’ll be wearing your own clothes under the thermal suit so you will not get cold even though you are floating like an ice-cube in a drink. This activity is guided and totally safe with the rescue suits that cover your whole. Who knows, maybe after this step you’re ready to do it in the Finnish way without the suit?
FRIDAY
At 12 pm CHECK-OUT
The keys are returned to Himos reception.

You can also book more exciting experiences such as husky-safari, downhill skiing and even a visit to Moose Manor zoo where you can share kisses with the majestic forest moose!
