Online reservations user instructions

The accommodation reservation system proceeds through five main windows, for search, additional services, shopping basket, payment, and confirmation.


Select the arrival date (starting date of the reservation period) and the departure date (end date of the reservation period) by clicking the dates on the calendar provided. The accommodation premises are at your disposal from 4pm on the arrival day until noon on the departure day. PLEASE NOTE: During the winter season, the arrival day cannot be Saturday. Accommodation for periods/events such as Christmas, New Year’s, the Neste Oil Rally, and the midsummer festival cannot be reserved via the online reservation system; please contact the central reservation staff or send us e-mail. If you want to search for cabins of a certain size, you may limit the search by number of residents. Please note that the maximum cabin capacity for the search is 12 persons. If you want to search for accommodation in only a certain area, you may specify the search to list options in just that area. When you have defined the search criteria, click ‘Continue’ at the bottom of the page to display a list of accommodation options meeting your requirements. In the list of accommodation options, you see the name, price, and accommodation capacity of the cabin, as well as its distance from the nearest skiing slopes. To read a description of each cabin, click the circled ‘i’ beside it. The last column on the right shows whether the cabin is available for the desired period. From the calendar you can check when the cabin is available. If you wish to book a cabin, click on the ‘Book’ link. You have now chosen the holiday property. Continue by clicking ‘Continue’ at the bottom of the page. You have now added the holiday property to your shopping basket.


When you have added a property to your shopping basket, you continue to the product page, where you can choose additional services (such as linens and cleaning). Choose the desired services and the required amount. Continue the reservation process by clicking ‘Add to shopping basket’ at the bottom of the page.


In the shopping basket, you can see all of the products, their amount, and prices for the chosen reservation period. If you wish, you may go back by clicking ‘Back to additional services’ and select more products, or you may remove products by clicking ‘Remove line’. If you have been looking for other properties, as well, but in the end decide to book only the accommodation already selected, you may return to your shopping basket by clicking on the ‘Shopping basket’ tab at the top of the page. When all of the products desired are in the shopping basket, continue to the ‘Payment’ tab.


Fill in the required contact information fields (marked with *). For the user ID and password fields, you can specify a user ID and password of your choice. Don’t forget to read the reservation terms and conditions and to select the ‘I accept the terms and conditions’ checkbox. Select the logo of the bank or credit card you wish to use for payment. You then automatically continue to the payment page. Don’t forget to confirm your reservation. After a Web bank payment, you need to return to the vendor’s service by clicking the relevant button. Confirm your reservation by clicking ‘Continue’. The reservation then is saved in our accommodation database. PLEASE NOTE: Make up your own user ID and password (minimum length: six characters) for the relevant fields. The system will notify you if the user ID you have entered is already in use in the system.


After you confirm the reservation, an order confirmation page is displayed, and you can print it out via your printer. If you paid only the advance fee, print the final invoice as well. When paying the invoice, make sure that you receive a receipt for the payment. The keys will be surrendered only against a receipt. All cancellations and other changes in Web reservations must be made by contacting HimosLomat.
